Chic ‘N Meat is a family run business in the south-eastern Sydney suburb of Maroubra which provides the local community with fresh kosher chickens and other associated kosher products. These chickens are fresh to our store and are prepared on the premises with love and care.
After several years working as a Mashgiach in the kosher poultry and meat industry the proprietor, Boris Fooks, saw a gap in the market for fresh kosher meat in our area. Having been involved in the process he understood that the kosher chicken supplied to Sydney through major supermarkets was not getting to the consumer as quickly as if it were straight from our store. He also noticed that the consumer was very limited in the style of cuts available at any given time. With that in mind the idea for Chic ‘N Meat began to grow.
We are a family business run by Boris and his children with a dedicated staff committed to bringing fresh kosher chickens and other kosher products, such as fresh Challahs on Fridays and bagels on Sundays to the families of Maroubra and surrounding suburbs. We pride ourselves on good customer service and aim to provide a range of services including special orders or to cut a chicken to your specification. A home delivery service is also available.
